Correspondence, documents, receipts, and maps relating to the Western Land Association and land sales in Indiana. Most of the sales are around Fort Wayne and La Porte, and along the Wabash and Erie Canal. There are three maps included; two are unidentified and one is of Dunkirk (N.Y.?) Correspondents include Samuel Hanna, Henry Q. Hawley, John Hough, Jr., Thomas H. Hubbard, Andrew Wilson Loomis, Elias Murray, John Tracy, and James Whitcomb.
